his page lists opportunities to make leadership gifts to the Centennial Campaign funding priorities. Some gifts at these levels offer naming opportunities and other recognition benefits.   • Academic Learning Center
    • Endow Director Position $1 million

    • Technology-Based Instruction (creates a centralized
      online forum for teachers and students to con-
      tinue classroom discussion, introduce topics
      before meeting, access digital resources, etc.)

    • Digital Asset Management (brings vast  amounts of
      digital resources—an image of an Etruscan vase
      or the Acropolis, for example—into the class-
      room and beyond at the click of a mouse)

    • Technology Innovation Fund  (allows Reed to invest in
      technologies that support teaching and research)

  • Performing Arts Facility
    • Details to be provided as architectural plans, now in progress,
      are finalized.

    • With matching funds from the Mellon Foundation,
      supports the creation of three additional faculty
      positions in music, dance, and theatre, enhances
      the curriculum, and creates a music librarian position

      with grant money for talented students with the
      most financial need)

    • Fully Funded Scholarship (meets the average financial
      need of a Reed student)

    • Centennial Scholarship Fund $50,000
  • Student Services Facilities $500,000
    • Creation of new spaces for student activities and
      organizations, health & wellness center, multicultural
      resource center

    • Support for canyon restoration, enhancement, and maintenance

    • Discretionary fund for new initiatives aimed at enhancing
      overall quality of student life
